Propaganda maps are designed with a specific purpose in mind-- to advance a certain view or goal at the expense of accuracy and truth. This may be through wilful perversion of facts and skewed information. This German map before WWII justified the invasion of Czechoslovakia due to its air force "threat" to almost the whole nation.
